Brazil's Top iOS Financial Apps in Q4 2023: Sensor Tower Insights

As the year 2023 wrapped up, the financial app landscape on the iOS platform in Brazil saw various trends in user engagement and downloads. Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top five investing and financial management applications during the last quarter.

XP Investimentos maintained a steady user base with weekly active users peaking at 214K in early October and then slightly fluctuating around the 200K mark towards the end of December. The app saw an increase in downloads, reaching 14K in late November, followed by a mild decline to around 13K by the year's end.

Despite generating no revenue, Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a spike in downloads, particularly in late October when they hit 8.7K. Weekly active users reached their highest at over 54K in early December, indicating a growing interest in cryptocurrency transactions among Brazilian users.

IQ Option showed variable download numbers, with a notable peak of 4K in mid-October and a decline to 2.2K by Christmas. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, with a drop from 37K in late September to approximately 25K at the end of the quarter.

Among the apps that generated revenue, Investing.com: Stock Market stood out with its revenue reaching over $5K in late November. Downloads, however, experienced a decline, with a dip to under 1K by the year's close. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around the 50K mark throughout the quarter.

Lastly, MetaMask - Blockchain Wallet, which also did not generate revenue, saw its downloads fluctuate, with a high of 1.2K in mid-October. Weekly active users showed growth, reaching over 6.5K in early December, suggesting an increased interest in blockchain technology among iOS users in Brazil.
